I'm a 26 year old stay at home mom to 2 beautiful little girls and I'm married to their incredible father, Chance. I whole heartedly believe I'm married to my soul mate, there is nothing that compares to being in his presence, he is a huge reason that I love photographing other couples in love. I find peace and comfort in his calmness, extreme laughter in his incredibly dark and goofy humor, joy watching him pursue his dreams and an intense protectiveness over his loving soul. I have the kind of love that I read about in all my romance books and its one of my most prized possessions. I want to fill my life with people and experiences that give me the same overwhelming sense of love that he does.
We've been together for almost 6 years now and married for 2. Our oldest daughter is 4 years old, she and her 1 year old little sister are both attached to me at the hip. They both carry fiery personalities and are full of their dads goofy humor. They are both carbon copies of Chance with blue eyes and blonde hair that makes me question if I actually gave birth to them?? We always joked about having blonde headed babies but with my dark hair and brown eyes we never thought we'd get it!
We currently live on 11 acres in Texas with my parents, at 18 I dreamed of having my own family in my own home but now I couldn't imagine having raised my kids so far away from my parents. Both of our families are a huge support team for us and we are forever grateful to them. In less than two years we will finally be officially living in our own home and the goodbyes are going to be very bittersweet.
As sentimental as I am about leaving the comfort of my parents home, I find even more comfort in the mountains. Their beauty and fresh air calls to me and one day, somewhere deep in a mountain range, we'll have a secluded little house to call our forever home.
I have always felt a pull to be near the mountains, something I still don't fully understand but as I get older I've learned to listen to those pulls because they usually lead you into great adventures.
When I was younger, somewhere between age 9-12, I felt one of those pulls towards photography. I took a class on the subject in 7th grade and its been a passion of mine ever since. I was never good at drawing or painting or crafts of any kind really but I had a desire to be artistic in some way. I learned quickly that there was a lot more to photography than just picking up a camera and clicking some buttons, I was fascinated by all the ways you could create and personalize through a camera. I carried on as a hobbyist throughout high school and into my adult life. When we got pregnant with our first daughter Chance bought me a new camera to capture all of her milestones, a year went by before I realized how much I loved this and a few short months later, in 2021, I created my business!
If I'm not sitting at my computer editing at all hours of the day, you can find me curled up on the couch with any fantasy romance book. Reading provides an escape from reality for me. I love being immersed into the worlds and meeting new characters, if it were possible to visit the places in these books I don't think I'd ever come back. Reading also provides me with inspiration to use during my sessions with couples, it's the coolest job in the world. I get to tell a love story through pictures instead of words and I feel honored every-time a couple trusts me enough to let me be the one to tell their story.
